Five at Kirrin Cottage Again in middle age!

Lets do our own version,whilst we wait for the powers that be to produce their offering....remember this is our chance to produce a version that WE would like!

Background:

The Five,now all twenty years older are back together at Kirrin Cottage for an Easter get together.....They have decided to come as just the Famous Five, so they can reminisce about old adventures,bring each other up to date about their current lives.....Who knows they may also have an adventure......

George flung open the door of Kirrin Cottage and threw her arms around her three cousins tears of joy in her eyes.....

[Nick]

"Sorry we're late" said Julian "Anne here noticed that a chap was driving without TAX, pulled him over and booked him".

[Dick Kirrin]

(great idea, Pete! )

"Don't mention it", George replied. "Where's Dick, late as always?"

[Moonraker]

"Where's Tim, old thing?" asked Julian.

"Idiot!" said George. "He died years ago!"

[Dick Kirrin]

While Julian was still recovering from the fact that although they were all together at Kirrin Cottage just like in the old days these had long gone, a Ford came up the drive with a grinning Dick at the wheel: "Sorry, folks, my Jag has been stolen recently and so I had to get another car."

[Nick]

"Well, I did try to tell you not be so flash with cash but when was the last time you listened to me" said Julian.

"About 20 years ago when we camped at Professor Haylings" replied Dick. "Jo sends her best and I have some new pictures of our baby to show you"

Just then an old man appeared from a side room "What on earth is all this noise Georgina?"

[Dick Kirrin]

"Oh father! Don't tell me you don't recognize Julian, Dick and Anne!", George replied with a sigh. "Father has become very forgetful these days", she wispered to the others.

'I heard that!',said her father,are you all here....?,right...'Fanny,bring him down!' and down the stairs bounded..... TIMMY!-......but,.....but,...stammered the four...
'Timmy comes to you today due to my revolutionary breakthrough in bio mimetics,cryogenics,and gene sample/splicing said Uncle Quentin,he is the complete genuine Timmy down to his dna ,memory,genetic code,,,,etc etc!!

"Affirmative, master!" said Timmy

"He can talk!" exclaimed Dick. "We've got ourselves a real K9!"

"You have to thank Gary Russell for that," said Uncle Quentin. "He's done so much work with the Doctor, that he thought George would appreciate an everlasting dog."

Just then Aunt Fanny came in,looking more attractive and youthful than the Kirrins had ever seen her!'....Yes',said Uncle Quentin,noticing the way the way they were gazing at their aunt,'your Aunt volunteered to be my first human guinea pig,for my age reversal genome formula!'..its a success,we can all be young again!




ps Moonraker.your last reply has got to be one of your best ever,made me laugh and laugh and laugh!

Anne clapped her hands joyfully. Her face shone as she looked at her very clever uncle. "oh Uncle Quentin" she gasped, "you've succeeded, you've made this story even more crappy than the other one thats running". Her Uncle beamed fondly at her. "Yes little Anne" he said, "we scientists can wreck anything we choose".

'Anyway,' said Julian,'I think we all agreed this is the year we would to row over to Kirrin Island and dig the time capsule we planted all those years ago!'........

[Dick Kirrin]

"Whatever you do on Kirrin Island, don't go down the dungeons", Uncle Quentin warned them. "My energy conversion project is very dangerous and should be left alone!"

'If ANYONE of you goes into the dungeons, Quentin continued...,EVERYONE on the Island,man or beast will be returned to their youth, because of the violent unstable forces at work down there,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!'.....

" Coo!" said Sid, who was developing a sub-plot by the window boxes, " The potential to regain my paper round would be excellent."
