The children were quite near the village bus stop-as the bus came lumbering along Fatty hissed,'quick jump on this bus as soon as it stops,here it it is,now,quick,everyone jump on!'........

The only room on the bus was on the long seat at the very rear of the bus.....Bets nudged Fatty,'Fatty,look at that man!'....They all turned to look at the man in question....He had a long white beard....
