Re: Guess the character
Good guess, you aren't too far off, but thats not who I was thinking of. Perhaps another clue:
My first name is a common Blyton name
Before I was adopted I never used my surname (if indeed I had one).

"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Re: Guess the character
Thanks, Fi!
I think this isn't too difficult, so I have only revealed a little to start with. I will reveal more clues if it isn't correctly guessed!
Who am I?
I am an eleven year-old boy, and I live with my nine year-old sister at our uncle and aunt's house.

Re: Guess the character
Is this the two children from Hollow Tree House, Peter & Susan? Names from the cave as the book isn't to hand but not sure about the ages. This is the first book which came to mind with children at an aunt and uncles.
If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy

Re: Guess the character
I think it may be my turn, but I'm not sure. I think I spoke too soon and this game is getting complicated again!
Who am I:
I am an orphaned boy, who lives with various relatives in the school holidays and I have a dog who lives up to his name.

You are Snubby, of course!
And yes, it was your turn, Moonraker and I just like to muddy the waters with off topic nonsence once in a while!!

Re: Guess the character
My sister and I always liked that "poem" as children and would spend hours saying it with different letters...
Dee Do Di Dum
Di dell de dud dof da denglish dan....and so on.....
danyway, dow dor da destion......
I am tall, clever, and well spoken.
I have a most cutting tongue, which I use on 'no good' folk.
I am in charge of my little group, and often have to put one of them in their place.
