Re: Guess the character
Well, I'm not too sure how to do this, so I'll just give a quote like you did.
'Mrs ---- is prettier than ever - she looks years younger than I do!'
BTW, my name's John

Oops...Sorry Moonraker. As I was hurrily going through the questions I didn't notice your question until you pointed it out. Sorry again!Moonraker wrote:No-one's asked a question, eh? My question (unanswered) is immediately above your post, Muminah!Muminah wrote:Hi! Well, since no one asked a question I thought of asking one of my own.
Well, I have no idea what the answer is!
But I know that John had given the correct answer.

Hi John! It is quite difficult. Can't you give me another clue.

Rose. Hmm... Oh I can't remember! Could you please tell me from which book or series she is from?

Muminah, I think you have to answer the current question correctly before you can ask another!

Re: Guess the character
Oh! I think i'm getting muddled up. Hi, Moonraker,as I didn't know the answer I asked John and he gave me the answer that it was Rose. So what other question should I answer? I only asked him from which book or series Rose is from as I couldn't remember.
By the way I deleted the question I had asked.

Re: Guess the character
Don't worry about it, old thing! It does seem a novel idea though, that if you don't know the answer to one of the questions posed in the Games Thread, that you ask for the answer! Usually, a question remains open until someone successfully answers it correctly!Muminah wrote:Oh! I think i'm getting muddled up. Re: Guess the character
I understand now. Thank you Moonraker! Well, I guess i'll have to wait till someone asks a question.
Go ahead... Someone please ask for a question. Or whose turn is it?

No-one has answered my question yet, so we'll just have to wait!

Re: Guess the character
Hey jchk4 ( John )! I am lost! Can you please tell us your question? Or could you just post your question again? You see the last question you asked was,jchk4 wrote:Ok, the name I blanked out was Rose
And as I had no idea what the answer was I asked for a clue.jchk4 wrote:Well, I'm not too sure how to do this, so I'll just give a quote like you did.'Mrs ---- is prettier than ever - she looks years younger than I do!'BTW, my name's John
So... isn't that the answer and as I didn't know who Rose was I asked you to tell me.jchk4 wrote:Ok, the name I blanked out was Rose
So you see.. I am just as muddled as ever. If I have made any mistake I am extremely SORRY!Muminah wrote:Rose. Hmm... Oh I can't remember! Could you please tell me from which book or series she is from?
Could you make it easier or at least make it clear for me? PLEASE!!!!

Re: Guess the character
I'm assuming that Rose is from 'Six Cousins' and as she should actually be called 'Mrs Longfield', again I'm assuming that it is Linny Longfields maid/housekeeper (Doris?) that spoke the quote.
Anyway, John, why don't you just ask a new question?

Sorry Muminah, but Fiona has it. You see, I only told you Rose's name, but she was mentioned in the quote.

Re: Guess the character
It's Okay john!
Let's forget the former question and Why don't Someone ask a new question now? Whose turn is it? I think John that you'd better ask the next question.
