Other Books' Quiz

Post by Moonraker »

I thought it might be interesting to have a running quiz that featured some of Enid's lesser known series than we already run. Here is the first question:

Google Buns were featured in the Enchanted Forest series of books. However, there is another mention of Google. He is a character in which book?

Nice idea to have a quiz on "other books"!

Google is a clown in Circus Days Again.

What is the title of Elizabeth Farrell's first published story in the Rivers-End Weekly?

(Heh - doesn't Rivers-End sound like Bourne End?!)

It's more a case of not having read all of Enid's books Nigel.

I've never read any of the Faraway Tree books, Noddy books, and many others for the young reader.

Then get on and read them, Julie. You have a wonderful world of fantasy and adventure awaiting your discovery!

Your time would be amply rewarded by reading more, and far more interesting than watching TV episodes of the Famous Five! :D

Have fun, Julie!

A reminder of the question, and a clue:

What is the title of Elizabeth Farrell's first published story in the Rivers-End Weekly?

Clue: The story is about a certain number of a certain kind of animal.

I've just posted in this forum for the first time! This is a good idea!

About the question give, I think it was The Thirteen Cats. I just think it was, and am not sure, as some time has gone since I read the book.

Is my answer correct?

It was "The Story of the Thirteen Cats" so you got it between you, Lucky Star and Philip Mannering. Think we'll have to pass the baton to Philip though, as he got the correct number of cats. Over to you, Philip!
