Yes Yak and she would have been in her element. Over to you.
The Chief looked at Fatty. "Brains are good, courage is excellent, resourcefulness is rare," he said, "but generosity crowns everything, Frederick. One of these days I'll be proud of you!" - "Vanished Prince".

Re: Malory Towers quiz
Where did the West Tower girls go for the day whilst The North Tower ones went to Langley Hill?

Re: Malory Towers quiz
Thank you Yak, it was your clue that helped...so all day I was smiling because I had this image in my head of someone 's bottom that was long so funny.
Anyways new question:
Amanda was a new girl in 'Last Term'. What was the name of her school and what had happened to it?

Re: Malory Towers quiz
Trenigan - and it burned down. Which always made me wonder - what happened to the other girls? Why was only Amanda to go to Malory? (Same with Maureen in Fifth Form).

Re: Malory Towers quiz
Correct Yak. Good questions - from reading the books I don't think those 2 girls schools were boarding schools maybe the parents still want them to go to day schools. For Amanda maybe the head reached out to her, for she was certainly Olympic bound, so fame for MT. Maureen maybe to show Gwen how much she was like her and maybe Gwen would change. They were in the upper school now soon to leave, a last ditched chance to help her?
Anyways over to you.

Re: Malory Towers quiz
Maureen's school was definitely a boarding school because it mentions her 'drawer' where she left her brace as she couldn't get used to it
In Sixth Form, just before June rescues Amanda, she gazes out at the sea and decides that it is a specific shade of blue. What was that shade?

I loved that line!
“A sort of cornflower blue, June decided.”

No wait, now I’m questioning myself!
Wasn’t it delphinium?
The jury will please disregard both my answers.
