Elizabeth Leitch - The Raiders' Road
Just bought this book for £4 - After reading the dustjacket blurb I couldn't resist!
Anyone else read it?

No, I've not seen that before - sounds good though.
Well done Pete on your purchase - I hope it is as good as the 'blub' makes out.

Re: Elizabeth Leitch - The Raiders' Road
I've heard of The Raiders' Road as an example of a "Ruritanian" novel but I haven't read it. I don't think I've ever come across a tortoise helping with an adventure or mystery! Hope you enjoy it, Pete!

Anita, I thought the tortoise reference the most intriguing part.
