Here's two books I've been trying to get hold of at a reasonable price. I've managed to hunt down the first.
Anyone got/read either book?
Just bought Cornish Mystery with wrapper for £7
Looking for this earlier book with wrapper now for a reasonable price!

Pete, Cornish Adventure is on Abebooks for £35 plus £5 shipping from MacKeller Art & Books, Bournemouth.
It's a 1st edition, 1937, described as VG/VG.
I haven't read either book but I'm tempted to get them both. Cornish Mystery is a lot cheaper.

Thanks John. I don't suppose £35 plus postage for a rare book is too bad really.
If it was a first edition Enid Blyton it would seem like an absolute bargain.
After buying Cornish Mystery for £7,
I would like to find Cornish Adventure with jacket for around a tenner - probably wildly unrealistic???

You could buy two copies of Cornish Adventure for a bottle of Macallan, Pete. And you can reread the books! Get the book, you know you want to.

Well, that is good reasoning John.
I will read the £7 book and then see if I think the other title is worth a hefty outlay - us Northerners don't splash our cash around too wildly!!!
