Due to a reading group taking on my novel, I've now had quite a few sales! Its apparently easier to sell my book to people I don't know than to family, though - only my aunt has actually bought a copy!!
I've made about £12.00 in royalties so far (I get far more from ebook sales than printed copies) - which is more money than I thought I'd make, if I'm honest!

Well done, it's all about getting your book out there, the money side is a bonus.

Great news about the extra sales, Rob. Let’s hope you get many more.
'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.

That's true! I really just did it for fun, but its always good to see people willing to pay for what we write, as you know.Julie2owlsdene wrote:Well done, it's all about getting your book out there, the money side is a bonus.

At the moment you can buy the Kindle version of my book for only £1.99 - special offer!
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Last-Summer-Ro ... 538&sr=8-1
The paperback is £7.00 - but that's not bad value for a book of over 300 pages! Believe it or not, I only get 36p per paperback sold - while I get 75% of the Kindle price!
