I'll be hobbling over to the post office later to post off the books which some of you have purchased from me.

I still have just a few author's copies left now, so if anyone else would like a signed author's copy, please send me an email.

Thanks. :)

The book looks fabulous Julie and you look like such a professional author sitting there holding it. I shall pop into Waterstones on Wednesday and see if they have a copy for me to buy.

Congratulations on your first (but hopefully not the last) book. :D

Is the book going to be available today, Julie? According to Amazon, it's not yet in stock.

I believe it takes a day or so after the release date, Anita, for the distributors to send them out. This was explained to me.

The Kindle version is already out.

Sent you a PM, Anita.

Just bought the kindle version and have read chapter one already. I wondered if any of the houses/locations in the book were inspired by real ones - or is everything mentioned imaginary?

Hope you enjoy the Kindle, Pete. If anyone wants to buy the book from Amazon just do so and don't worry about it being out of stock. It takes time for Amazon to adjust their inventory.

Spot on Pete, the places you will read about are all real and the hamlet I write about is where I once lived.

I have just changed the name that's all. :)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I listened to your radio interview and thought you came across well, Julie. You sounded relaxed and confident.

Thanks, Anita. A few people have said I sounded that way.

Debbie the interviewer was very nice, and I just felt like we were just talking together. At first I didn't realize we were on air, until I noticed her headphones!

I've not heard it yet on catch up. She did tell me it will be available for about 30 days, so I'll listen later.

Even my friend in Spain said she heard it, and email me straight way. :)
