I loved Dr Seuss when I was just young enough to draw out my very own books from the municipal library with their colourful illustrations.
By co-incidence, at a.n.other site a friend I know was doing an online streamed reading yesterday and they chose The Sneetches to read which was wonderfully relaxing and did tackle Green Eggs and Ham a fortnight before.

Re: Dr. Seuss
A memorial tree at my local park has a plaque beneath it and I was delighted to recognise the inscription as a quotation from Dr. Seuss's One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish:
If you never did,
you should.
These things are fun
and fun is good.
It sounds as though the person for whom the tree was planted led a full and happy life.
If you never did,
you should.
These things are fun
and fun is good.
It sounds as though the person for whom the tree was planted led a full and happy life.
