Zecharia Sitchin

Post by poddys »

He didn't write children's books, but do you recall the Erik Von Daniken books of the 1970's, Chariots Of The Gods, that introduced us to some of the mysterious places and objects from the ancient world, things that can't easily be explained?

Von Daniken merely touched on the surface, stirring up some curiosity in us, but Zecharia Sitchin spent a lifetime translating texts from stone tablets, originating from Sumeria, Egypt etc, and he has some amazing theories about ancient astronauts and the origins of mankind.

I find his books hard going, but totally amazing, and a lot of his theories make sense, filling in a lot of gaps in our ancient knowledge.

I wondered if anyone else here has read any of these?

I did create a page about his works here, and this has been an area that I have been interested in since I was at university in the 70's.
I went on some great adventures reading the Famous Five books.
