I have just received my copy of Stephen's book, and it exceeds my expectations. I urge anyone with an interest in our railway's past - especially those of Cornwall's, to buy it. A marvelous book.

So glad you're enjoying it, Nigel. Amazon got some in, but there's only three left again now!

Although I like steam railways, I don't think I'd buy a book about them, but it's great to hear that Stephen's book is doing so well. I'm just sorry I won't be buying a copy myself.

I think it's more of a 'man's book anyway, Katharine. For someone who is mad on steam trains. I love to see them and ride on them, but I won't be buying hubby's book!

Hubby spoke with his publisher today, and he was told that the book is selling really well and the reviews that have come in are really excellent. The publisher now has to order another reprint, as they have non left for distribution and it's only been out for a week! Apparently it has exceeded their expectations! And hubby of course is thrilled. :D

As indeed he should be. That's great news Julie, his reputation is obviously growing strongly. Does he have plans for more?

The publishers already has book three, John, which will be out next year, and he has almost finished book four.

Thanks everyone. :D
