Has anyone here read Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder? It's probably the most famous of his novels. I started reading it for the first time when I was about 11 years old, but it's quite a heavy novel with a lot of philosophy and it went over my head at the time. I enjoyed what I read, but I didn't finish reading it.
I'm planning to pick it up again soon. Now I'm older and more interested in philosophical ideas, I think I won't find it as heavy going as I did when I was younger.
