Those will look lovely on the shelf Julie. Hmm if my sums are correct you now have 63 crime novels to read; better get going.

Yes, I've been searching for the missing three, Pete. I have located some of them, so I may try and do a few deals during the coming week. :)

The dust jackets were not on the books, either, but as I've seen the jackets, I think I do prefer them without, and the black, red and gold lettering looks okay. :)

Research tells me the missing three are:-

Dumb Witness, Pale Horse Bit 4 Secret Adversary.

Nemesis, Parker Payne Investigates, Poirot Investigates

Labours of Poirot, Hickory Dickory Dock, Cat Among the Pigeons.

They're out there at various prices, so I'll do a bit of Find Outing, Pete. :D

Lots of potential for new publications and TV episodes there, Lucky Star! - we did enjoy a new-to-us
Marple, THE SITTAFORD MYSTERY with Geraldine McEwan and Timothy Dalton on Tuesday evening.

That's one of my favourite TV episodes. I love the snowy atmosphere and the big house, and the cast is great, Carey Mulligan is so sweet as Violet.

Sittaford is one of Agatha's books I haven't read, and I've read reviews of this episode that say it's nothing like the book, but I just enjoy it for what it is - an enjoyable murder mystery that you can curl up and watch for a couple of hours.

I thought it a travesty. Do read the book, Flora, it is solved by a lovely young lady and her man, not a sign of Miss Marple to be seen.

Me too! :P Although I never read the original versions (by that I mean the English ones), I read the Poirot and Miss Marple cases over and over again: except for Mystery at Chimney and Death on the Orient-Express, I can never recall who is the murder so it's always a thrill to read them again ;) I also enjoyed some of the Tommy and Tuppence Beresford cases, but not as much as the Poirot ones!
