Does anyone else remember this book? I remember borrowing it numerous times from the library as a child and only managed to find out recently that this was what it was called. I have been keeping an eye out for it second hand on ebay as it is really expensive on places like Amazon. The author was Helen Clare but this was apparently a pseudonym for children's writer, Pauline Clarke, whose work I am not familiar with. Does anyone else know of this writer?

ETA: just did another ebay search and someone does have it listed in Australia but for $19.95 plus postage. Someone has it on UK ebay for 1.50 but only posts within the UK.
