Many thanks for reporting back Anita. It sounds like it was reasonably good, with a bit of room for improvement.

Thanks for sharing your experience Anita.
Unless it comes to a my local theatre, I don't think I'll bother to travel any distance to try and see it.
Still, it's good that Enid's name is still up in lights.
I wonder if there's any chance of them bringing the Noddy panto back to life?

I would go and see the Noddy pantomime as it has other Enid Blyton characters in it too, including Mr. Pink-Whistle and some of the Faraway Tree folk. If I remember correctly, Noddy gets to climb the Faraway Tree! Mind you, the play is not at all likely to be revived in its original form!

Thanks for the review, Anita. I think I'd still give it a go if it came to somewhere near me (very unlikely of course).

Here's a newspaper article about the musical.

Thanks for that, Jack. It's interesting to hear what a cast member has to say (Dewi Wykes, who played Julian). Rather frustratingly I couldn't hear the words of all the songs as the music drowned out the singing in places, but I do remember Julian feeling the pressure of being the eldest and saying that he was a fourteen-year-old boy who didn't have all the answers.
