Thanks, Anita.
That one didn't flow as easy as the last one, but I enjoy the double rhymes too so I stuck with it.
I've had a go at a Limerick for Missing Necklace...
The gang use Johnny as a go-between,
And the Waxworks Hall to convene,
So it wasn't feckless,
To hunt there for the necklace,
And they found it on the Virgin Queen.

I like it, especially the feckless / necklace rhyme!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Is it time to move on to Hidden House?
I wrote a couple of lengthy pomes about Ern's adventures in that book a while ago, which I'll just link to rather than repeat here...

...So I don't think I'll do another full poem for it, but I'll work on a Limerick and hopefully there'll be some other contributions.

They are brilliant pomes, Bertie.
I’ll do my best to come up with one later today. Perhaps I’ll just try a Limerick, as well, to begin with.

But if some can help Fatty, I'll be full of glee,
If it helps him beat Uncle to solve the mystery.
I'm no genius, I know, but I hope Fatty's impressed,
And I could be a Find-Outer just like the rest!
I dreamt of Holland as I lay in bed,
And bravely told him 'Goanborlyered!'
And to the other fellow, I know not who,
I said to him: 'And fry your face too!'
Smashing Bertie!
They are going to be hard to top
" A kind heart always brings its own reward," said Mrs. Lee.

Thanks, Barnard and Pete.
Hard to believe that it was 18 months ago when I wrote those. That time has really flown by!
