Noddy decoupage picture in frame

Post by Ice_Gemz »

I came across this on eBay this evening, and was interested in the auction because I have one the same. Does anyone know anything about the pictures, whether they are part of a set, when they were made, or any other info?
I think I picked mine up from a car boot sale or charity shop a couple of years ago, so wouldn't have paid more than a few pounds for it.

Not sure about that, but the nostalgia shop 'Pastimes' had a lot of Noddy items at one point - plates, clocks, paper mobiles, music boxes etc - so it could well have come from somewhere like that. :D
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

(E. Blyton, Sunday Times, 1951)
