The Mysterious Train - Paul Lamond

First read the gripping short story inside
Then complete the puzzle
This will need some sleuthing as there is no picture reference
Then, using the clues in the puzzle, solve the mystery!
You can check the solution by holding the answer page up to the mirror
No peeking!
Just come across this. Anyone got it? Can't find it in the cave - but it's probably in there somewhere.
It says it for ages 7 and over so that includes you if you're reading this! :D

I have a few...or I did - think I got rid of a couple - but definitely had that one, based on Five Go Off to Camp. :-) They are pretty good, though the artwork is a bit cartoony. The puzzle is fairly difficult in a way because there's no reference picture. :-) Its split into four or five different sections, each showing a different aspect of the plot.

Mine cost about £7.00 each.
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

(E. Blyton, Sunday Times, 1951)
