     That's interesting - although I only found it just now, years after the post above was made. Just a pity the Google display of it makes so many cuts of pages that I can only get a general indication of the line of argument.
     This must be a very rare case of Enid Blyton being cited in a serious and detailed way in any kind of academic or intellectual discourse. I wonder if there are many other instances.
