No mystery but a couple of weeks ago I was in York and Whitby where I got caught in storm babette. It was fun to watch the wild seas from my hotel window but unfortunately no old wrecks were thrown up from the sea.

Sounds great! I remember reading one of Arthur Ransome's Swallows and Amazons books during a particularly savage storm, and when the characters in the book also experienced a terrific storm I felt completely at one with the fictional world.

I feel sorry that I didn't collect these annuals until I was an adult, as they're fun and informative.

Continue it if you are enjoying it but if you’re not then give it up. Life is too short to be struggling with something you’re not enjoying.

I don’t think we have a leader yet so you have my vote.

You could always discuss things with your tutor, Sue, and see if they have any advice.

I also vote for you to be leader!

Sue, I echo the comments above about your course.

I would definitely have a word with your tutor first, as they may be able to reassure your concerns - I've been studying for the last year and a half and at one point I seriously considered giving up. However, after speaking to my tutors (and other students) I decided to carry on and am now really glad I did, as I was able to overcome many of the difficulties.

However, as Lucky Star says, life is too short to struggle with something if you really aren't happy with it, so if after speaking to your tutor you decide it's not the course for you, then it makes sense to stop it - maybe you could just give it until the end of the next term if you are unsure?

If it's not the course for you, hopefully there will be something else you can do instead which you will find easier/more enjoyable.
