You can count me in also Sue.Sue Webster wrote:hi guys , how about us famous five fans starting a club on the forum --we can chat about all things ff, share memories, resurrect our badges if you have them and more ? would this work --even a newsletter--etc . could be fun! sue
I think its a great idea as we are all very nostalgic anyway. (Don't forget membership cards too).
Let me know of any developments.

Re: famous five club
With an user name like mine, how could I possible stay out. Though strictly speaking the Famous Five, with the exception of Timmy form a family.
But if you want me, I'm in.
Cheers

Re: Famous Five Club
Thank you Sue. Let's for the moment use the forum as I think it would be unkind to exclude any member, which would be the case if we branch off on our own. Besides, I do not make a good leader. If I was, I might habe chosen Julian Kirrin as my user name... . Why not try and get a topic on the board open for everyone who feels especially attracted by the Famous FIve, or as Nigel once nicely put it "obsessed"?
I do not have any realistic idea about how we could make badges or membership cards which could be used online. It's no coincidence that I do not have an avatar, I simply don't know how to create one. If there's anyone out there who knows, I'll glad for extra help....
Cheers

Re: Famous Five Club
Dick, your avatar is created by uploading an image from your pc to the site.
To get a suitable picture, I simply went to google, and did an image search for my favourite book - Smugglers Top, and found one the right size. I saved the image to my computer, came to the site and went to 'user control panel' > 'profile' > 'edit avatar', then I used the browse box to locate the file I had saved, hit the submit button, and voila! I had an avatar!

"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.
