Wouldn't it be great if we could all have a go at making a Map Of Peterswood.
Even something like this would be good fun!

And everyone would be completely different, Pete, as we've all got our own Peterswood in our heads.

Still live in hope that one day someone will attempt a map of Peterswood!

It would be brilliant to have a map of Peterswood - but do the details stay the same from book to book?!

I'll warm me with your echoes

I just had a go - It is quite obviously pathetic! Surely someone/anyone can do better than this??!!!

It's good to see it, Pete! I'm glad you put the shed in! What about places like The Ivies (Fairlin Hall), Grintriss (Green Trees), the theatre, etc.?

Isn't 'Winter Hill' the other side of the river...as Christmas Hill is in real life?

I thought "Christmas Hill" was the name used in the book (
Hidden House ) and Winter Hill was the name of the real location near Bourne End that Enid presumably used as the model?

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure )

I rather think that it is actually 'Winter Mill' - It's just Pete's writing. Just like further down the map it's not 'Fatty's Mouse'' - or is it?

Not to mention "Pip and Bet's House" — the position of the apostrophe indicating that the house belongs to "Bet".

I know it's not the greatest of pictures, and I'm no David Bailey (I was sitting in a parked car at the time!), but here's a photo from the top of Winter Hill I took a couple of years ago. If you get out, it's actually quite a good view!

The one near Bourne End, or the one near Bolton?
