Re: A Map of Peterswood
I'v e analysed Secret Room now. The link is on a thread I've started called 'Fatty and the Find-Outers Forever' in Books.
I suppose I've started this new thread because although mapping Peterswood is one of the things I'm attempting to do, it's not just that.

Too bad, I cannot find it. I went to "search forums" and copied and pasted your new thread and this is what I got: No suitable matches were found.

Chrissie, if you go to "http://www.enidblytonsociety.co.uk/forums/index.php", select "books", and for the time being the 4th entry is the desired thread

There are other ways to find things. You could have clicked Duncan's username and viewed all of his posts. Or viewed the 'new posts' page or the 'active topics' page. Or as Wayne did just go to the relevant sub forum and read down the list.
I wonder if when you searched you had it search for posts containing that title, instead of searching for a thread with that title. Might account for why there were no results.

Re: A Map of Peterswood
I know this is a really old topic, but as a new member I was tremendously excited when someone directed me to it - I mentioned in my introductory post that I'd made a map of Peterswood years ago. I love that there are people as obsessed as I am over these books!

Re: A Map of Peterswood
Hi rosy_posy, I once created a map based on the descriptions in "The Valley of Adventure". So I must be equally obsessed .
BTW I just LOVE it when other members unearth old threads as I've never figured out how to find any of them.

Re: A Map of Peterswood
Aha, do we now have two forumites who are prepared to use all the assembled data to plot the locations of the main FFO Peterswood buildings upon a real 1940s street-map of Bourne End? 'Twould be a brave thing to do, 'cos the map would then have to be posted on-line to be critiqued.....

Please have a go at it, Farwa.
Once we are able to begin evaluating draft maps we'll be almost there.

Right, Aurélien - but how will I get a '1940's' map?

I hope one day it would be possible that we have a map of Peterswood like this one of Miss Marple's St Mary Mead ....

We will, Pete, as soon as I figure how to get that 1940's map!

Re: A Map of Peterswood
I think it would be fascinating if we all drew a handmade map of Peterswood from our imagination and then compare them all!

Re: A Map of Peterswood
That's a good idea, Pete! Should we implement it? It's much better than finding another map to draw our own!
