Thanks, John, that's so kind of you. If I can arrange to come to the film show I'll let you know as soon as I can.

I didn't like the book and I didn't like the CFF adaptation of Five on a Treasure Island, so I don't think I will spend £50 on a day trip to watch it! That is Ten Years Society Membership Money!!!!!!!

Thanks, Nigel. I was going to check out the map on Weds when we're back from Dorset.

Your faith in my navigation does you proud. I've only been to London about 5 times in my lifetime, and to me it's a big terrifying city. Not only that the railway stations have loads and loads of platforms, with thousands of people rushing around.
In St Austell we have two platforms, one for the up train and one for the down.
Just stepping off the train will cause me to go into instant panic.

Er... at £10 per annum Nigel £50 is only FIVE years Society Membership!!!! So, as the price has just had a 50% decrease does that mean you'll come?Moonraker wrote:I don't think I will spend £50 on a day trip to watch it! That is Ten Years Society Membership Money!!!!!!!

I thought the forumites would be able to all sit together, anywhere, as you do in a cinema. Having a seat allocated has now put me off

Even another reason for me not to attend. I'd feel like a dirty old man in a raincoat sitting by mesen in a cinema watching a children's film...Julie2owlsdene wrote:George@Kirrin wrote:I've booked two tickets and got slap bang in the middle.

I guess we should have made a block booking, then we could have sat together!

Re: Five Have a Mystery to Solve Film Show
I can't imagine it'll be sold out, so don't worry, I'm sure we'll be able to sit near - I'm thinking people if they wanted to sit near someone could ask the nice person on the phone to sit them with the others - they'll have the names...

If you are trying to avoid the dirty old man look I'd definitely avoid the raincoat! How about going jacket free all together?
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...

Re: Five Have a Mystery to Solve Film Show
I intend to come but won't book a ticket until nearer the time just in case something crops up. I'm sure there'll be a bar or a cafe at the venue, or at least nearby. The film will probably finish at around 3.40pm so I was thinking that maybe those of us who don't have to rush off could stay and have a drink. Anyone interested?

Re: Five Have a Mystery to Solve Film Show
I've just bought mine as it looks certain that I'll be there now. By the look of the theatre seat plan not many tickets have been sold yet. There will probably be a last minute rush. I booked seat D9 which seems like a good spot, I'll probably end up craning my neck.
A drink or a coffee sounds like a great idea Anita. I may have to rudh off afterwards to go to work but if not then I'm certainly up for that.

Where did you look for the seating plan, John? I've looked everywhere on the site and can't find it
