There's more discussion of the new series in the 'Blyton on TV' section. It's a matter of opinion but personally I hated it, nothing like the book. The storylines in the later FF books may benefit from changing but up to 'Five Go To Mystery Moor' the stories are very good or excellent and although 'Five Go Adventuring Again', the supposed basis for this week's adaptation, is not as strong as some, there's virtually nothing left of the original story except for Mr Roland being the name of their tutor.
