Re: The Magic Lemonade - A Cautionary Tale
I've only ever read that story once, Pete (as an adult, in The Magic Lemonade and Other Stories published by Purnell). The name "Charlie Brown" reminds me of Peanuts, but Enid's Charlie Brown is unspeakably cruel. It's an extremely vivid and satisfying tale, making a real impact, though it's a little strange that events are sparked initially by Charlie's greed - yet the story goes on to address his cruelty rather than his greediness.
