Colin Is A Good Policeman

Colin Is A Good Policeman.
This story written in 1939 had a few glues/clues that reminded me of The Find-Outers.
See what you think:

I agree, Pete.
I recently read that short story in the Happy Adventure Tales and it was probably my favourite as, like you say, it reads like a shorter, younger version of a Find-Outers mystery.
It's nice to find some 'bonus' stories like that.

A great little story. I like Enid Blyton's mini mysteries/adventures, which are carefully crafted and have pace, colour and intrigue.
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.

A nice little read.

And yes a bit of a mini 'Invisible Thief'.

A very good story - in spite of the typos/errors!

I remember this story - the title and the broad outline anyway - and have mentioned it previously on the forum. Nice to read it again after all these years (probably about 45!)
