A very early story from Enid Blyton - read it for a short time by clicking the link above.

I read 'The Secret Cave' in Chimney Corner Stories (Dean & Son) as a child. An exciting, atmospheric tale. Chimney Corner Stories was (and still is!) one of my favourite short story collections.
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."

I enjoyed reading that story. It's unusual for Enid to write in the first person as Roger. Thanks for the link, Pete.
