Thanks, Pete. I obviously read that story when you first shared it a bit over 5 years ago, as I've commented about it above, but I'd forgotten it in the meantime, so it was good to read it (and be surprised) again!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

A lovely story. Not sure why Michael was wearing such bright red lipstick in one of the pictures, though...
