RIP Meat Loaf
I'm very sorry to hear that Meat Loaf died last night, aged 74. He had an amazing voice. I loved Bat Out of Hell when it was first released in 1977 and it's still one of my Top 5 albums of all time. RIP Meat Loaf.

Re: RIP Meat Loaf
Yes, I was sorry to hear that.
The album brings back special memories for me - a girl I worked with gave me a tape of it, and I used to play it in the first car I owned.

Re: RIP Meat Loaf
One of the bestselling albums of all time. I saw him in concert many years ago and he was superb. Very sad news. RIP Meatloaf.

Re: RIP Meat Loaf
Meat was probably my first rock idol. The 'Bat out of Hell' album was a massive hit downunder even before it hit the charts in the UK and US.
Even my Dad - whose favourite singers were Neil Diamond and Johnny Mathis - loved that album.
Farewell Mr Aday and thanks for the memories.

So sorry to hear of Meat Loaf's passing, which the later news programs reported was from Covid.

Yes, I also read that he had refused the vaccine, which makes it sadder still.Boatbuilder wrote: ↑22 Jan 2022, 01:45 So sorry to hear of Meat Loaf's passing, which the later news programs reported was from Covid.
