Camping essentials?

I watched a documentary about the British royal family some years ago. The news reel said that the young prince "discovered the rigours and hardships of camping". The person being interviewed said that he peeped into the tent and saw a four poster bed!

Have you forgotten that Jomo's daughter is in Australia, Fiona, where it is the height of summer, or are you just thinking of camping in Scotland at this point in time?

We rarely have heating on in the bedroom, even at our age, and that's nothing to do with the current high fuel prices - just a comfort thing.

No I haven't forgotten but sat in the middle of cold wet wales surrounded by snow covered icy mountain tops it's impossible to imagine there's high summer anywhere else at the moment. By the middle of July though when it's so hot it's uncomfortable, I'll be just as hard pressed to recall it being so cold now!
