Very sad to read that Sally Ann Howes, who played 'Truly Scrumptious' in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang has died aged 91.

Apparently her husband also died earlier this year.

Mum & Dad took little me & my sister to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang when it came out. It might have been the first movie I ever saw at the cinema.

Vale Sally Ann.

RIP Sally Ann Howes. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is one of my favourite films and my own children have happy memories of watching it repeatedly on video.
