Get well soon, old thing. Thanks goodness it wasn't more serious. You need to get back in the saddle asap!

Re: Julie2owlsdene - Car Accident
I certainly couldn't drive at the moment, Pete, as my head is still fuzzy, with mild headaches, and I couldn't turn my head constantly as one does when driving. But I'll certainly get back behind the wheel, when I'm able to, and of course my car is out of action now until it's fixed. I'm more worried about my car really, as it's only 15 weeks old! I just hope it can be fixed, as these days if the structure has had a bad knock, then they're normally deemed unsafe for future use.pete9012S wrote:
Has it put you off driving Julie?

As long as you're not unsafe for future use, old friend!

Yes, Julie, it's going to take time before you get back on the road and I hope your car is going to be ok for you too.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Julie2owlsdene - Car Accident
Thanks again everyone. I've spoken again to the doc this morning, and he said it's going to take a time for me to get back to normal, but that's nothing unusual after a car accident. I guess I'm just the impatient one, as I have to be on the go constantly, and someone has put my brakes on.

I'm glad to know you're starting to feel better, Julie, even though it'll take a while before you can do all the things you usually do.

Re: Julie2owlsdene - Car Accident
Try to relax with a good book and enjoy the break from being constantly on the go Julie, as rest is the best medicine at the moment. I hope that your car will be OK too and that you will be back driving in a few weeks.
Happy New Year!

Glad to hear you are on the mend Julie. Enjoy the rest and think how many books you can read while you recover . I hope your car can be fixed too as they're definitely fussy these days.
