Very sad to hear that Kraftwerk founder Florian Schneider has died of cancer at the age of 73. R.I.P.

Another sad passing. Revolutionised music in the 80's and influenced so many musicians around the World. It's been a bad week for music industry. R.I.P. FS.

There's that famous clip of Kraftwerk being discussed on Tomorrow's World in the 1970s, and to some people it must have looked like a novelty that would never catch on...

Yet within the past forty five years, this sort of stuff has become mainstream!
While I'd probably never listen to Kraftwerk for hours on end, I find the whole subject of early electronic music really rather fascinating, and even got a Moog synthesizer app on my phone simply for the fun of it! The idea that these computerised machines could replace conventional musical instruments must have been groundbreaking at the time. That's why I was also interested in Gershon Kingsley who passed away last year.
