My word. Three years ago today. It seems like only yesterday. It was a fabulous day. Great company in lovely surroundings. Hopefully one day we will do it all again.

Actually, I was surprised it was only 3 years ago, seems like much longer.
I'm still eternally grateful for the lift to and from the station, otherwise I'd never have been able to attend. The fact that I didn't know I was able to go until maybe a day or so before the event made it even more of a special day.
It really was a great day, and I do hope there will the chance for some kind of gathering one day in the future.

I'm quite alarmed at three years having flown past at such a speed! What a wonderful day it was. I remember you telling us about your book cabin, Katharine. I hope you're still pleased with it and that it hasn't filled up too quickly!

According to my spreadsheet, I've just read my 287th book - which is about one and a half bookcases worth. The rest are still in no particular order, but I think I have more books than shelves! Unfortunately it has also been filled up with various boxes of 'stuff' which I need to sort through, so it's not quite the relaxing space it was intended to me.Anita Bensoussane wrote: I remember you telling us about your book cabin, Katharine. It would be lovely to meet you, Sunskriti!
287 books sounds great, Katharine! I went through a couple of years without reading anything much (too busy moving etc.) but I'm back in the swing of things now.
