It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I was thinking "a mystery" too!
I did work that one out though - and my daughter has just worked it out too.IceMaiden wrote:Using just one line, how can you change l0 l0 l0 into nine fifty?

Re: Riddles and Puzzles
At first I thought it was 'the time' because once we know the time its actually moved on.
Then I thought it might be 'the future' because once we know the future its actually not the future.
Then this morning I wondered if it was 'a secret'. So I got there in the end!

The Bus Driver's eyes are hazel.
That one is a lot easier when you can read it, as opposed to having it said to you.

That's good thinking Rob, all three of those could easily fit. I have to admit, after 'a mystery', I did wonder if 'Father Christmas' was the answer .Rob Houghton wrote:At first I thought it was 'the time' because once we know the time its actually moved on.

Reminds me of a birthday card I saw some years ago. On the front it had "Now that you're 16 [or whatever the age was], we figure you're old enough to know the truth. There is NO SANTA CLAUS."IceMaiden wrote:I have to admit, after 'a mystery', I did wonder if 'Father Christmas' was the answer .
On the inside: "The tooth fairy shot him. Be brave! Happy Birthday."

How on earth do you work the answer out? Other than the fact that a driver must be able to see I can't even be sure that he/ she had eyesCourtenay wrote:No they're not, they're blue.KEVP wrote:The Bus Driver's eyes are hazel.

The driver actually has grey/green eyes.

The driver's eyes are brown!

Re: Riddles and Puzzles
Is Jack400 really having trouble figuring out the bus driver puzzle? It's always hard to tell over the internet.
Usually, when I have heard that puzzle, the final question is "What is the Bus Driver's name?" Which is normally just as easy/hard as determining the color of the bus driver's eyes.
