Re: Football
I totally understand your frustration, John! Forest went through the same phase a few seasons ago. What could go wrong, went wrong! If it weren't for bad luck, we'd have no luck at all...as the saying goes!!

Let’s hope the Owls find the wherewithal to beat Swansea tomorrow night, John.

Re: Football
If we get knocked out, Eddie, then I shall be supporting Brighton. I like Chris Hughton, he's an underrated manager and he deserves to win a major trophy.
By the way, I meant to say that Wednesday have had 20 players out of action for more than a month but NOT all at the same time. We are struggling though.
Best wishes to Forest next season, Number 6. Some canny dealings in the transfer market during the summer and a promotion push is on the cards.

Re: Football
Thanks, John. We've made some food signings & hopefully we can kick-on from now on. It'll still be a big ask for promotion next season, though. I've seen promise turn to disaster very quickly in the past, so I'm not taking things for granted! Only time will tell.
Good luck to the Owls, too. It's about time they had a bit of luck for a change. I hope all comes good for your club, but it'll be difficult under the rule of your current owners. When Scholar owned Forest, it was the lowest point I've experienced as a supporter of the Reds. He & his cronies almost destroyed the club. It took years for the club to recover.
I agree, Chris Hughton is a quality manager & is doing a terrific job at Brighton. He's a no frills leader, who does an amazing job getting the best out of the limited resources at his disposal. With two or three quality additions, I think the Seagulls could really push on next season.

I agree with you both, John and Number 6. Chris Hughton is a superb manager and the Seagulls are lucky to have him.
Good luck to the Owls tonight.

Thanks Number 6 and Eddie. I'm glad the match isn't at Hillsborough tonight, I wouldn't fancy sitting in the stands in these temperatures.

It’ll be nice to watch the match live on BBC1 in the comfort of my living room, John.

Re: Football
As the commentator remarked on TV, Wednesday have 15 players out. Despite that, I thought we had the better of the first half and the only chances. Swansea were better after the break and deserved their victory. I'm supporting Brighton in the Cup now.

Well done Forest and Brighton in their respective league games this weekend. I shall say no more on the subject.

Good luck at Man Utd tonight Eddie.
Great point at Bramall Lane, Number 6.
Oh, and another Sheffield club completed the double over Leeds today.

Thank you, John. A tough match for the Seagulls, but here’s hoping.
