Thank you, everyone! I didn't do anything special for my birthday (I was working, and today am having a quiet day off as I have a cold or something like that 
), but next week I have a couple of days free and am planning to do a two-day hike along the Sandstone Trail from the north to the south of Cheshire. (With a B&B booked halfway — as I said recently in the camping thread, I don't do "roughing it"!! 
) So I'm just concentrating on being well for that.
