Happy belated birthday Francis. I'm sorry I missed it, I was in Egypt with no internet connection. Hope it was a really great day.

Thank you, deepeabee, I'm afraid the weather was terrible but still enjoyed it! I am sure the weather in
Egypt was a lot better - hope you had a great time.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Happy Birthday Francis
Thank you so much Carlotta, Courtenay, Daanton and Eddie! Awoke today to the sound of
pouring rain but soon cheered up with my birthday cards (2 of Noddy including a picture from
'Noddy goes down to the Sea') and my presents including two whole series of the the original Star Trek,
a very rare old Jersey postcard and a pristine first edition with dust wrapper of 'Saucers over the Moor' by
Malcolm Saville. Must rush now as we are off to Alton for the day and will return this evening to read and thank any other best wishes. Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Happy Birthday Francis. What a great way to spend your day - and a delightful change too. (Do you have a season ticket for that shop?)
