Happy Birthday, Francis! I hope you had a lovely day despite receiving two Noddy cards!

Happy Birthday Francis! Hope you didn't get rained on too much!
"You're so sharp you'll cut yourself one day!" Hunchy said going to the door
"So my Mother told me that when I was two years old!" said Julian and the others giggled.

Ooops, mine is definitely a belated message.

Hope you had a lovely day Francis, even though you didn't manage to find any books. Two Noddy cards sounds an excellent way to start the day. :D

Thank you Anita, Stef and Katharine. I did get a bit wet trying to dodge the showers but arrived home to look at my two Noddy cards. 'Noddy at the Seaside' was the first Enid Blyton book I remember reading so it has a special meaning to me - gateway to so much pleasure and happiness.

Thank you everyone - yes indeed I am 21 yet again. Just look and feel a lot older!
Daisy, Izzy has made a lovely Lime Drizzle Cake (very moist), a Raspberry jam cake with oodles of icing
and a chocolate cake. My daughter from Hastings with family will be coming in a couple of hours to help
consume them. I will soon be rolling out justrol pastry and cutting premium sausage meat to make lots of sausage rolls to go with ham, chicken, turkey, two types of salad potatoes, three types of lettuce, cucumber, beetroot, coleslaw and freshly made baguettes all washed down with 3 types of fruit juice, ginger beer, coke.
Wish you were all here!

I will have to go now and will log in again this evening to let you know how the day went.
