Thank you for the birthday wishes but I've decided that this birthday isn't happening this year. Due to changes to the exam results system, my daughter got her results yesterday and my son is to get his tomorrow. Too much stress. Since last year has been written off due to covid so far I'm still 49
If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy

Not a very Blytonesque day today, apart from melting in the heat and wanting a maid to bring me a big jug of iced lemonade in the garden. I do have a lovely selection of cakes though so I'll be one of the Find - Outers at the dairy, although for the sake of my waistline I'd better not have six.
