Be careful though - the birthday cake in the Land of Birthdays is wishing-cake and you only get one wish!

You are right (don't think it's Geography though, more like forgetfullness!) I was forgetting that in BST you are only 5 hours ahead of us.

Incidentally, very well done on your amazing exam results - there is a very good girls' grammar school in Salisbury just waiting for you to appear!

Happy Birthday Ming!

You share your Birthday with my mom! :D

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

Get me a scholarship there and I'll be there in a shot - my brother and I actually have a plan up our sleeve!! I'll apply somewhere, if I'm taken, I'll tell mum, "Mum, I've been accepted in here, I must go!" She doesn't want to let me go before my O-levels, and to hell with that! I'm supposed to have my O-levels in 2011 and Edexcel is over in 2010. Which is a problem because then I'd have to give Cambridge exams and we don't have teachers trained for Cambridge. I'll end up with horrible grades, something like straight B's!!

And thanks everybody for wishing me. It feels real good. :D

Very colourful wishes, both of you! :D I'm having a great night, doing some Chemistry homework so I can have some fun in the morning! It'll be a strange birthday - my dad is in China, my mum and brothers will be going out of town in the morning, so I'll be having a couple of friends over for a good old chinwag!

"While the cat's away the mice will play!" - one of our many strange English sayings, translated loosely it means have a great birthday and don't do anything that Nigel wouldn't!
