Definitely a British expression!

Ah, I think I just got it. (Not a very common term in Australia — we mainly use the other (probably ruder) one — which is why I didn't make the connection immediately.)
Moving right along ... well done Lenoir and everyone else who's achieved a high score legitimately!!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Congratulations, Lenoir. That's the reason I'm always slow - partly - as I can never scroll very fast and then sometimes when I click the answer, the circle doesn'r remain clicked so I have to click it again...and that's apart from being slow anyway!
As people have said, its just a bit of fun...but I sometimes wish I could complete the quiz in at least under 3 mins!

Congratulations on your score and time, Lenoir. Very impressive.Lenoir wrote: I managed to do a quick time, but just couldn't scroll fast enough to do it in a minute.
Second place.

25 is great. I only made 21, but at least that is better than the 19 of March.
I really need to learn more about Enid's life and find some of those books I have not read.

A miserable 20 for me - but at least it's better than nothing!

Oh wow, I got 24 — I think that's my highest ever! (A lot of them were guesses, though, so I can't claim much credit.)
