Eric Robert Parker[1] (7 September 1898 – 21 March 1974) was a prolific British illustrator and comics artist best known for illustrating the adventures of Sexton Blake in various periodicals.

Eric Parker's illustrations are certainly bold and eye-catching but I find the characters' faces odd - strangely manic and mask-like!

It's great - other than the top half of George. As Anita said she looks manic and a little scary. And she appears to be wearing a top more suited to a nightclub than the storyline depicted. I like the depiction of Timmy, the island and the boats though.
