I think you will find it does, Julie! Having read the whole book I saw no similarity between it and 'Fall Into Adventure' at all, or any other Fives' book for that matter. Unless I have read it wrongly (and I am sure the author will correct me if I have!), I think Em is much younger than Jo and indeed the 'Five', as I thought she was aged about 7.
If I was to pick out a book it was similar to, it would be 'Five Go Off In A Caravan' - maybe.
I never really thought of Em's age...although I think she does describe herself as 'eight or nine or thereabouts!' - but that's just Em's estimation - so she may well be younger. I certainly visualised her as no older than 8, but her toughness makes up for her young age.

I've just read the 4th instalment of Rob's serial and it's coming along very well. Yes, Em does remind me of Jo but my mental picture of the caravan in the woods is similar to the one at the circus in Secret seven Adventure. The characters and dialogue are certainly in Enid's style and I'm looking forward to the next instalment.
I'm enjoying it so far too. The dog under the caravan was pretty scary, though, even just from your description, Rob!!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Superb opening paragraph of the latest chapter, Rob.
Like Julie's SS story, I'm really, really enjoying this. It's both familiar but new with elements of Caravan, Mystery Moor and Camp, being combined to make an excellent tale.
Just in case you wonder why Chapter 7 has a rather strange-looking title, I have informed Keith about this and I am sure he will correct it as soon as he can find the time.

Thanks Tony!

Yes, I'm really enjoying this story, and read it first thing every Monday morning! I'm now getting the feeling of Mystery Moor, as Nick has mentioned as I read the last few lines.
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.
"See that? It's the black Bentley again. KMF 102!"
