Re: New Weekly Serial
Hi, thanks, I'm ok now, but I only began really working again on the 16th... I did work a bit the week before, but I shouldn't have, I was not well enough, but I absolutely wanted to go to a chat, and for that I needed to work...
The serial is wonderful, I'm looking forward to see how the children will reply/act towards their guests. Why can't the next chapter not be here now...
Are the two of you already writing another serial? If so, would it be possible to say of which series? I think the Barney-Mysterys have grown on me, they are now one of my favorites series.

Well, I'm not sure about Julie, but I'm writing one as we speak - but its a Barney Mystery - so unlikely to see the light of day for a while...then I hope to continue with a Famous Five, or whatever else I fancy. I'm purposefully not reading Julie's current serial because I don't want to be influenced in any way, but will read it when I complete the writing of mine. At the moment its called 'The Rawlins' Reach Mystery'.Dinah Cunningham wrote:Are the two of you already writing another serial? If so, would it be possible to say of which series? Funny how Barney and friends always manage to find their adventures in places that start with R, isn't it??

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I'm not a person who says what I'm currently working on, Dinah, as I don't like to jinx my plots. So it's always kept quiet until it appears on the site. Tony always knows of course.
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

Ron, an RR and a FF novel would be great!Rob Houghton wrote:Well, I'm not sure about Julie, but I'm writing one as we speak - but its a Barney Mystery - so unlikely to see the light of day for a while...then I hope to continue with a Famous Five, or whatever else I fancy. I think I've never asked you how long it takes you to finish writing one mystery?
And how many do you write per year?

Very good chapter, I'm looking forward to know what you mean with the last sentence...

Poor Barney, I hope everything goes alright during the night. I do wonder what Miranda does and how difficult she may be...
