Rob, your serial seems to have been going longer than Coronation Street! :D

...which was on UK TV longer than "Peyton Place" with 514 episodes and a continuation series. :wink:

Many thanks to you Daisy, and the three or four others, who have read my serial weekly. Knowing you are doing so makes it all worth while, as after all, it was written to be read weekly, just as many of Enid's were written to be read fortnightly! :-D

I’ve just read Rooks Rock (I prefer to read the stories altogether rather than weekly) and I really enjoyed it.

I too thought The Rawlins' Reach Mystery was a wonderful story, very Blytonian indeed, with plenty of drama, some great pieces of description and excellent characterisation. I especially enjoyed the portrayals of Snubby and Great-uncle Robert.

Thank you all - you've warmed my heart on this rather grey Easter Monday! I'm so pleased you enjoyed it and thank you for the feedback about Uncle Robert and Snubby, Anita - they are two of my favourite characters, and I'm glad I did them justice!

I have a story in the pipeline - just need to get it written!! :-D

It will be good to read the next serial and to not know what happens! :D
