The signature looks fine to me, though I'm no expert! I don't have any signed Enid Blyton books but if I were to buy one I'd be looking for a book in beautiful condition as it would be a special purchase. A book with a scuzzy dustwrapper like that and the signature only glued in rather than written on the page doesn't appeal at all - especially for £125!
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.
"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.
The fact that it is glued in might suggest a photocopy of the signature - I agree with Anita that the signature looks genuine, but I would have thought Enid would have signed the actual book.
I wouldn't buy that personally. My honest thought is that it looks like either a cut out of the signature from the page of another book and glued on or a tracing of the signature done with a fineliner to make it flow nice and tidy. A little too nice and tidy as well, that looks too perfect to genuinely be someone's signature squiggle. When I was at school we had homework diaries that parents were supposed to sign weekly. After my mum signed it once I traced over her signature pressing hard to imprint it on the next page to copy it again repeatedly - the teacher never noticed for the whole year! The signature in this book looks exactly like that.
